I went to see Michael Craig-Martin's show at @gagosian today and had two reactions: At first, I contemplated how the artist s sculptures probed the relationship between objects and images, perception and reality, harnessing our uniquely human capacity to conjure ideas through symbols and signs. My second thought was, Jeez that's rad! In the show notes, Craig-Martin said, "I have always thought everything important is right in front of you." ('Safety Pin 'blue,' 2019)
