I remember our first meeting over 10 years ago, back in 2008, when Karl first came to Moscow. I was a journalist at the very beginning of my path, and it was an honor to interview the Legend. I remember this particular meeting especially well, because I learned more about the history of the country I was born in than I thought I knew, from a man who had never been to Russia before. The world lost possibly one of the most intelligent, knowledgeable, iconic and creative people of our generation. This is the end of an era. Rest In Peace, Karl. The world will miss you.
