Dame, Dr. Jane Morris Goodall DBE is considered to be the world's foremost expert on chimpanzees, and is best known for her over 55-year study of social and family interactions of wild chimpanzees since she first went to Gombe Stream National Park, Tanzania in 1960. The Jane Goodall Institute, founded in 1977, is protecting chimpanzees and inspiring action to conserve the natural world we all share, improve the lives of people, animals and the environment.
