When we travel, be it Hawaii, Bali, Maldives, St Barth s or Sochi - everything is clean within the territory of the resort.
But once you go outside, you can see trash left by people (thanks God that it is less trash here in Oman, than in Bali, where it, sadly, became part of the island) .
Today, during jogging on the beach, just outside my beautiful hotel, I have discovered plastic bottles thrown on sand (they came out from the ocaen). These are dangerous not only because they do not decompose in the following 400-500 years, but also because animals can swallow or can get trapped into them. I was sad seeing this and asked myself: "What can I do right now"? So, we took 2 bottles in each hand and brought them to the trash bin in our villa. Hopefully, they would place then in a special trash place, far away from animals and the sea.
